Speaker Bio
Sarah Sjolie is the Chief Operating Officer of the CyncHealth Foundation and the Nebraska Helathcare Collaborative. In this role, she leads academic partnerships, workforce development strategies, and community-based data requests to advance heath equity and place-based investment.

Sarah served as a not-for-profit CEO for the past seven years with prevention-based , social determinants network architects - The Wellbeing Partners and previously Live Well Omaha, which focuses on building wellbeing into the way communities and businesses thrive. Sjolie partnered with the Board to merge two not-for-profits to create The Wellbeing Partners and shaped foundational programming, brand messaging, and governance to enhance community health impact.

Sjolie brings 15 years of nonprofit healthcare and community benefit leadership to her work within Corporate Communication and Community Benefit with CHI Health. Sjolie earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and a co-major in Biology from Creighton University and a Master’s in public administration from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Sjolie has contributed to innovative programs, policy, and partnerships over the past eight years within maternal & child health, access to healthy foods, healthy housing and active transportation.

Sjolie is a graduate of Leadership Nebraska, an honoree of the Omaha Jaycees Ten Outstanding Omahans, and Midlands Business Journal 40 Under 40. She is a Scholar of the UNMC Public Health Leadership Institute and holds an Executive Certificate in Human Design Thinking and is trained in the Technology of Participation®. She is an alumni member of the Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals Council, is a member of the Association for Community Healthcare Improvement, and a member of the Public Health Association of Nebraska. Sjolie has volunteered with the Omaha Chamber YP Council, Stephen Center Emergency Shelter, The Friends of the Omaha Public Library, and Colibri in Cusco, Peru.

Sjolie was born in Fremont, Nebraska and then moved to Omaha in elementary school and knew from an early age that she was an advocate for healthy environments for kids and families. Sjolie is married to Shannon Sjolie and has two daughters Rose and Margo who are six and a son, Alden, who is four years old.
