Gina’s intro to healthcare was as an Owner/Operator of a Residential Care Facility & Group Homes licensed in the state of Iowa, along with a Certification in Medication Management.
She decided to step away from that, yet remained focused on health and wellness. She started her own consulting agency, bringing innovation to the pesticide category and developing bee safe formulas, offering eco-friendly concentrates, and using recycled materials to package products.
After that, she dove into entrepreneurship, with a focus in InsurTech and HealthTech. She Co-Founded an InsurTech startup in the health & wellness category that was acquired by Clever Ventures, an Arizona-based healthcare technology company.
After the acquisition, she stayed on to create Clever’s ‘WOW! Strategy’ through curated technology, human connections, and a framework around: Delivering on Promises + Providing White-Glove Service + Continuous Improvement + Going Above & Beyond.
Today, her focus is on HIPAA-compliant AI and automations between tools & platforms.
Outside of work, she enjoys reading, traveling, attending sporting events, and spending time with family and friends. She resides in Iowa City and she has two grown children, Jackson and Georgia.
