Scott Fisher is a consultant, attorney, educator, and business leader with nearly four decades of experience in employee benefits, executive compensation, health care, risk management, and business strategy. He is President of McCrossen Consulting, LLC and has served as an adjunct lecturer in the Finance Department of the University of Iowa’s Henry B. Tippie College of Business since 1999. His career also includes senior leadership roles with Marsh, Mercer, and Seabury & Smith.

A graduate of the University of Iowa, where he earned both a B.A. and a J.D, Fisher combines legal, financial, and business perspectives in his consulting and teaching. His professional work has included compliance, variable compensation, benefits administration, employee benefits plan design, insurance, and risk management.

Fisher has also been deeply involved in community and nonprofit leadership, serving numerous boards and committees, including Mercy Hospital, Mercy Hospital Foundation, the Iowa City Area Business Partnership, and the Iowa City Area Development Group. He was recognized as the 2014 Iowa City Area Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the Year through McCrossen Consulting.
