David Becker is the President and Chief Executive Office for Cottingham & Butler. Since joining the company in 2004, Becker has helped Cottingham & Butler grow from roughly $30 million in revenue to nearly $375 million in 2025. The company is now one of the 30 largest insurance advisors in America. Prior to joining Cottingham & Butler, David was a partner with McKinsey & Company in Chicago, where he focused on the retail and consumer packaged goods industries. Before McKinsey, David worked for IBM in a sales and marketing capacity.
David is married to his wife Amy, and they have three boys. When he is not working, David likes to travel, play great golf courses, read, and invest in helping organizations grow and thrive.
